The Problem

Training data that nobody can see

Healthcare L&D managers have LMS data. Plenty of it. But it is buried in CSV exports and completion percentages that tell you almost nothing about whether training is working. They cannot see WHERE learners disengage, WHICH modules actually change behaviour, or WHETHER compliance gaps are forming before audits expose them.

The data exists, but it is invisible. Decisions about training investment are made on gut feel, not evidence. And when leadership asks whether the $200K training budget is delivering results, the best answer anyone can offer is "well, 78% of people completed it."

Invisible Engagement

LMS data shows who completed, not who learned. Dwell time, interaction patterns, and retry behaviour are buried in raw exports nobody reads.

Reactive Compliance

Compliance gaps only surface during audits. By then it is too late - the gap becomes a finding, the finding becomes a corrective action.

I designed a dashboard around four views that healthcare training managers actually need. Not vanity metrics or feature bloat - just the signals that matter when you are responsible for proving that training changes behaviour, not just attendance.

Engagement Heatmap

A visual grid showing time-on-slide across all learners for every module. Instantly reveals where content works and where people click through. Cold spots mean content failure, not learner failure.

Retention Curve

Spaced repetition tracking that shows knowledge decay over time and triggers targeted refreshers before compliance knowledge fades. Based on Ebbinghaus principles adapted for healthcare regulatory cycles.

Compliance Radar

Maps training completion against ACQS standards, aged care quality indicators, and regulatory requirements. Gaps glow red before audits find them. One view replaces a dozen spreadsheets.

Attrition Pulse

Monitors new starter training velocity. Flags when someone's pace drops below the cohort average - an early warning for disengagement or inadequate support, weeks before anyone would normally notice.
